This unique expression begins its maturation in traditional American oak ex-bourbon casks, where it absorbs the classic Balvenie character of vanilla and smooth honey. After 14 years, the whisky is transferred to casks that previously held Caribbean rum, a finishing touch that imparts subtle tropical fruit flavours and a rich, rum-soaked sweetness.

The result is a truly remarkable single malt with a beautifully rounded profile. It carries the signature smooth, honeyed sweetness of Balvenie, but with added complexity from the rum casks, showcasing hints of toffee, fruit, and a touch of spice.
